EDUCATION
Brad
attended St. Petersburg Junior College (Clearwater, FL campus) for one year
before transferring to the University of Indianapolis where he completed his
undergraduate work in 1977. He studied Business and Economics and received a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. While attending UINDY,
Brad was a member of the baseball team and lettered all three years.
EXPERIENCE
Brad
started his commercial real estate career in November 1984 when he joined the
largest commercial real estate company in the world, Coldwell Banker Commercial
Real Estate Services now known as CBRE. He specialized in retail properties
where he represented both landlords and tenants. Brad achieved his first Retail
Top Producer award during his third year in real estate. He repeated this feat
in 1988, '89, '91, and 1993. He was also a recipient of the Coldwell Banker Top
Five Award in 1989 and 1991 and ranked 2nd in the Midwest Region within the
Retail Specialty Group of Coldwell Banker in 1989.
By 1994, Brad was
searching for more opportunity and decided to start his own commercial real
estate company and founded The Denton Company, Inc. in July. There, he expanded
into retail development and ownership positions while maintaining his
relationships with tenants and landlords. In February of 2002, he joined several
of his former associates at NAI Olympia Partners as Vice President of Retail
Sales and Leasing while continuing to build the ownership portfolio of The
Denton Company, Inc. While at NAI Olympia, Brad earned their two top awards in
2005, a rare double in Olympia's history, receiving the Top Associate of the
Year and the Top Producer of the Year Awards. In September of 2009, Brad left
Olympia to again devote his full attention to The Denton Company, Inc. Today,
Brad is actively representing tenants and landlords, and continues to look for
retail development and ownership opportunities.
ASSOCIATIONS
Brad
is a member of The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), The
University of Indianapolis Greyhound Club, (currently serves as President of the
Board), Connection Pointe Christian Church, and Plum Creek Golf Club.
